Visit La Melonera

Our most exclusive experience — designed for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the world of our winery. A deep dive into the history of winemaking in Ronda and our ongoing efforts to recover native grape varieties that date back more than 3,000 years — wines you’ll only be able to taste here, at La Melonera.

You’ll stroll through our vineyard, organic garden, and olive grove, and visit the winemaking facilities nestled within a sustainable estate. The tour culminates with a tasting of all our wines — six glasses, each with distinct aromas and flavors that capture the essence of our terroir.

The tasting also includes our estate-produced extra virgin olive oils, paired with artisanal bread made from ancestral Ronda-grown grains we’ve helped bring back. This premium experience is topped off with a tasting of chestnut-fed Iberian ham, produced by La Dehesa de los Monteros — an exceptional delicacy from a pioneering project to recover the rare blonde Iberian pig, raised on chestnuts from the Serranía de Ronda before the acorn season.

An exclusive visit for wine lovers and those who appreciate premium products and unforgettable experiences.

The experience includes:

  • Reception and welcome in the vineyard.
  • Immersion in the natural surroundings — including our organic garden and olive grove — and an introduction to the viticulture that defines our winery.
  • Guided tour through the different winemaking areas of the winery.
  • Tasting on the terrace of our wine bar or in the tasting room of our six signature wines, all crafted from recovered historical grape varieties.

The tasting includes:

La Encina del Inglés (white and red), Payoya Negra (red), Salinete Rosé (rosé), Salinete Naranja (white wine with oxidative ageing), and Yo Solo — a limited-edition wine made from revived native grape varieties (Melonera, Tintilla, or Blasco, depending on the vintage) — all accompanied by locally sourced Iberian ham from the Serranía de Ronda.

Tasting also includes our two estate-produced extra virgin olive oils (Hojiblanca and Marteña), paired with artisanal sourdough bread made from spelt wheat flour, an ancient cereal recovered and cultivated on our estate — naturally low in gluten, anti-inflammatory, and rich in protein.
